Peak Bodies Class Descriptions

Pilates Mat
A date with just You and Gravity. The "Heart & Soul" of Pilates, a series of challenging, well-balanced movements performed on the floor. A pure, simple and elegantly efficient workout that you can take home with you, and wherever else you go. Props may be utilized in this class for more challenge or to assist in the exercise.

Pilates Challenge
This class will include the advanced Mat repertoire plus more.

Pilates Fusion

The Workout
Taught by Kimberlie Barrett who has been teaching dance based classes since living in New York City. This class combines a dance based workout and Pilates while involving non impact moves coordinating upper and lower body. Focuses on building cardiovascular and muscular strength and improving your endurance while building core strength, toning and stretching the entire body. Guaranteed to make you sweat!

Pilates on the Ball
With iA fun, innovative class using a Fitball that will challenge your core strength and improve balance. The Fitball is incorporated into the Mat repetoire.

Equipment Classes

Reformer Class
Experience an invigorating, full body workout! Feel the flow of the movement with emphasis on breathing and transitions between exercises.

Class size is limited 3; early registration and instructor approval are required.

Tower Class
Combining basic Pilates mat exercises with more challenging work and will incorporate the springs and push through bar on the Tower.

Class size is limited to 4; early registration and instructor approval are required.

Chair Class
Originated by Joseph Pilates' observation of Chinese Acrobatic maneuvers on a "box", this class will improve balance while strengthening the whole body. It is a fun, dynamic workout than can challenge any level.

Class size is limited to 6. so sign up early. Instructor approval required.

Around The Studio: A.T.S.

This class gives you the complete Pilates experience of the Mat work, Reformer, Cadillac and/or Chair.

Class size is limited to 4. so sign up early.

Open Studio
With instructor approval, our studio is open by appointment to all Pilates enthusiasts for a self-directed, self-motivated workout.

Group classes are not intended for those in acute pain. Please consider solo sessions where assesment and modifications can be applied specifically to your needs.
